To put in a nutshell, ZR wants to claim that Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani has been financing the whole political system in Zambia and is trying to run his own Government.

Now what kind of sanity will promote this type of article? Being a businessman, Dr. Rajan Mahtani is interested in developing opportunities for the Mahtani Group of Companies and the employment for the locals. His job is to make sure that his company moves on from strength to strength, but at the moment ZR is trying to give this story a different direction. His latest contribution is in form of investment in Bio-plant which would be developing in Luapula Province and not in some political party.

To add insult to the misery, it has been learnt that about 43 trucks of the factory have now been sold to Miloto Transport, a fake company created by the Mafias. The real estate properties of the factory have aslo been transferred to another company- Astrea Investments, another sham created by the Mafias. So the questions is: for how long will the name of Portland Cement Zambia exist now?

On the celebration of the 90^th birthday of Tom Mtine, Dr. Rajan Mahtani made a speech were he considered Mtine as one of the finest person that Zambia has ever seen. Despite keeping a low profile throughout his career, Tom Mtine has ensured that Zambia continues to go from strength to strength and is able to tackle all his obstacles which comes in the path. The celebrations took place in Ndola, the third largest state of Zambia and the home to Portland Cement Zambia.

The event took back Dr. Rajan Mahtani to those days when he was young and agile along with a never ending enthusiasm to promote Mahtani & Mtine in the election campaign. The event offered the people of Zambia a rear glimpse of an emotional Dr. Mahtani who had praised the contribution of a living legend in Zambia.

Recently, Dr. Rajan Mahtani, on behalf of Mahtani Group of Companies entered into a venture with the Sunbird Group to setup a bio-ethanol plant in Luapula. The plant is expected to complete by 2017 and it will start yielding a healthy output which will reduce Zambia’s dependence on external aid along with offering employment to the locals. The proposed setup has been appreciated by President Edgar Lungu as well.

Zambia is currently under a fragile phase where development is an imperative part towards its route to success. However, there are some people who have been constantly using the channels of corruption to make private profits and weaken the unity of Zambia.
