At the present day, when a person looks at the Portland Cement Zambia the only thing that he realizes is tension and corruption. The Government of Zambia has been sitting silently and neglecting the whole affair just because the Ventriglias happens to be in their good books. Numerous accounts of unethical behaviour and transactions have taken place ever since April 6 2015, yet no actions have been taken against the Italian Mafias. On the other hand, plead of Finsbury Investments has not yet been entertained. After being removed by force by the Ventriglias, the management still continues to be in the hands of the conspirators.

The issue has resulted in the development of a defamation campaign against Dr. Rajan Mahtani, who happens to be an integral part of the suffering company. Over a period of time, the impact of this fight was seen on the Finance Bank Zambia. Articles on a regular basis started to flow out of Zambia Reports and as a result, the bank also suffered injury to its reputation. Recently, Dr. Mahtani was linked with a project in Luapula Province, we hope that the conspirators allow development activities to flourish and let their battle remain confined to their zone of operation. However, we still have a lot to learn about the Italian Mafias as most of their hideous crimes are often supressed by Zambia Reports and its lawyers. A noteworthy incident was their effort to tamper the records of PACRA at Kitwe Chapter through a junior-officer.

Sampa is not Mahtani’s boy, Zambia Reports’ rubbish claim

Dr. Rajan Mahtani, the Chairman of Mahtani Group of Companies, has been linked to another set of stories which took place within the PF (Patriotic Front) party. As per the publication made by the infamous news portal, they are claiming that Miles Sampa was closely linked to Dr. Rajan Mahtani and was working with an objective to create a link between Dr. Mahtani and President Edgar Lungu. However, after his failure to do so, he has resigned from his post.

The actual story behind this conspiracy is totally different. As we are all aware of the fact that Zambia Reports is only loyal to money. It has once again started with its defamation campaign and is trying to injure the reputation of a well-respected business. In the past few months, there were several headlines where Dr. Rajan Mahtani’s name was used. One was in respect of Finance Bank Zambia’s takeover and then another was in respect of the development of a bio-ethanol plant in the Luapula Province. Additionally, his win over the conspirators in the Lusaka High Court ensured that all of the allegation that Zambia Reports was trying to put on Dr. Mahtani from over the years was nothing expect for ‘planned conspiracy’.

As a revenge game, the conspirators have come up with another story and this time the resignation of Miles Sampa has been taken ever since he has resigned from the ruling party of Zambia. A lesson which is yet to be learnt by the conspirators is that the truth has no alternatives. They may use lie and imagination to cover up a story, but eventually the truth will stand tall with its head held high. The conspirators have lost to Dr. Rajan Mahtani twice in the High Court and still they have the audacity to come up with more conspiracy. Shame on you criminals!

It is an open truth that Rajan Mahtani, the celebrated Chairman of Mahtani Group of Companies has become a victim of conspiracy that most of the people in Zambia are well aware of. Though most of the people are happy with the way he has nurtured the development of some of the most productive entities in Zambia, there are also people who are operating with a vengeance. Here are some of the reasons why conspirators have been targeting Rajan Mahtani.

1) Portland Cement Zambia

It is common sense that the minority shareholders of Portland Cement Zambia want more money as they monitored the profits which were previously generated by the factory under Finsbury Investments. However, their horrendous past has left the management with no choice, but to leave them out in the decision making process. The result of this impact is that they are silently running a defamation campaign and trying to rule out the existing management.

2) Old Rivalry

There are many people in Zambia who had earlier taken credit from Finance Bank Zambia. However, their inability to pay the dues, even after extension, had forced to the bank to take legal actions. Ever since the news of Finance Bank’s takeover surfaced the news headlines, Zambia Reports has become desperate to find a way and defame the former Chairman Finance Bank, Zambia, Rajan Mahtani. A well-funded defamation campaign which is supported by the controversial lawyer, Sakwiba Sikota and the Italian Mafias, The Ventriglia family, has often presented articles which are untrue and purely based on the imagination of the authors. To support their claim they have only the following words- “According to a well-placed source”. In reality, the whole article from Zambia Reports is a ventilation of anger and fury against one of the most respected businessman in Zambia.

One of the most common ways to defame Rajan Mahtani was taking Finance Bank as the subject and then make vague claims with respect to its operations. However, when it was announced that the Finance Bank Zambia is now going to be sold to BancABC, a majority of doors were shut down in front of the conspirators. This meant that they will have nothing to claim and the defamation campaign will meet its end very soon. Therefore, a desperate attempt surfaced in December 2015, when Zambia Reports claimed that the takeover cannot take place as the ownership of FBZ is subject to violations.

No matter what the situation is, Zambia Reports has never failed to create scope for defaming Rajan Mahtani. Moreover, contribution from Saki and Antonio Ventriglia keeps them motivated towards continuing with the same. The consideration for good journalism has skipped through the windows of Zambia Reports long ago and today all the breeds within the walls of Zambia Reports is corruption, bribery and scandal. Rajan Mahtani was forced to take legal actions against this notorious news portal and as a result, there are several cases pending against ZR in the court.

Zambia Reports shaky with their facts against Dr. Rajan Mahtani

Over the past few days, Zambia Reports has ensured that it continues to defame the Chairman of Mahtani Group of Companies with its series of imaginative stories. However, this time around they have found themselves shaky. How can it be possible that a news portal offers two different viewpoints on the same matter within a matter of days? The writers have lost their consistency in the arguments and have shown their amateur side of journalism by way of moving to and fro in their conclusion.

Evans Mulenga, the name behind most of the defamatory content against Dr. Rajan Mahtani, earlier wrote that Dr. Rajan Mahtani is presenting himself as the owner of the Finance Bank, even though the same has been sold off to BancABC. Just days later, he again comes up with another story where he goes on to claim that Dr. Rajan Mahtani is still the owner of Finance Bank and the same has not been transferred to BancABC yet. The question is, which news will a common man believe? One day the author is claiming something and then the other day, the same person is saying the opposite of the same. Contradiction has been a big problem for Zambia Reports. They are never at par with the truth and believe in the offering their own insight to any news.

When the name of Dr. Rajan Mahtani appears under any scenario, they are bound to create an issue of the same and try to show him as a culprit. In Zambia, truth is NOT FOR SALE and the judicial system is strong enough to push away the corruption which breeds among few greedy fellows. Sakwiba Sikota has been running Zambia Reports for ages and during this tenure he has ensured that he leaves to tables unturned when it comes to making money through immoral ways.when it comes to making money through immoral ways.

Zambia Reports contradicts itself for defaming Dr. Rajan Mahtani

Just when everything was going in the right direction for Finance Bank Zambia, Zambia Reports came up with rumours to ensure that obstacles continue to come in the way and the people of Zambia get confused. On December 16 2015, Zambia Reports made a claim where the author, Evans Mulenga, published an article where it was being said that Dr. Rajan Mahtani is claiming to be the owner of Finance Bank even after he has sold off his bank to BancABC a month earlier. However, on December 23 2015, the same author, Evans Mulenga has published another article where he now believes that Dr. Rajan Mahtani is still the owner of Finance Bank and the shares of the bank has not been transferred to Atlas Mara. The question which is begging to be answered is- What should we learn from this?

Zambia Reports has made it a habit to publish defamatory content in the name of Dr. Rajan Mahtani, but in their quest, they have overlooked two crucial factors- honesty and transparency. Most of their publication are based on rumours and look forward to beg the attention of the public. They have never been able to produce any documentary evidences, nor have they ever had the courage to come out in public and make a statement. They have always shouted from behind the curtains and when anybody wants to have a look at them, they cunning hide behind the same curtain. In fact, the author name, that is, Evans Mulenga is also fictitious.

Dr. Rajan Mahtani & Zambia have been suffering the shameful attacks from Zambia Reports from a long time. It is high time for the Government and the judicial system of Zambia to intervene and end this chaos. After all, Zambia Reports is not working with a view to have constructive journalism, but is operating with a view to defame Dr. Rajan Mahtani and extract money from the Ventriglia family.

Dr. Mahtani & Zambia overcome the conspirators, but not for long

Dr. Mahtani & Zambia have successfully overcome the challenge of the conspirators. In November 2015, they have defeated the Ventriglia family, whose claim was that Dr. Mahtani had taken the possession of Zambezi Portland Cement Factory through forgery. The Lusaka High Court dismissed the claim and ensured that the dignity to Zambia remains preserved.

Moments after the decision was made, Zambia Reports came up with a malign article which talked about the possibility of the High Court Judge being bribed. With such shameful allegation, the conspirators, once again, ensured that the defamation campaign against Dr. Mahtani & Zambia continues to run. The news was soon followed up with another publication which claimed that Radisson Blu would now be transferred to BancABC. The article is full of nuisance and the author has done a lopsided research on the event before noting it down on the computer. The exact state of affairs can be understood by the following:

With everything crystal clear, it has become evident that the conspirators are not going to leave Dr. Mahtani soon. The hatred that flows through their vein for Dr. Mahtani & Zambia will keep them motivated towards publishing imaginative stories and trying to find various ways to defame the former Finance Bank Chairman.

On the other hand, the people of Zambia have also acknowledged the fact that Zambia Reports is nothing, but a sham which has been specifically created with a view to defame innocent citizens. The primary objective of the portal is to arrange for defamatory content and publish the same. Often it has been seen that they are unable to produce proper evidence for their claims and all that they use is citation from ‘well-placed’ source. Zambia is developing, but it will never resort to dishonest means to overcome the challenges. The Ventriglias may try to influence others with the aid of money, but only some like Sakwiba Sikota can be lured by the same.

Conspirators can no longer threaten Dr. Rajan Mahtani

Dr. Rajan Mahtani, one of the most respected businessmen in Zambia, has received a lot of criticism lately by the conspirators. On one hand, it is being claimed that Dr. Mahtani had forged signatures to offer the ownership to Finsbury Investment and on the other hand, the claim of forging key documents of Portland Cement Zambia is being claimed. However, on November 19, 2015 the Lusaka High Court ensured that this stupid claims are out to rest, once and for all. The Hon’ble Judge stated that the case was already closed in 2012, where Dr. Rajan Mahtani was found to be innocent and the same would continue to hold.

The remarks of the High Court came as a shock for the conspirators as they were expecting a clean win through their fabricated documents and senseless argument by the court. The result of this decision made the conspirators write filthy statements which was later on published in Zambia Reports.

Nevertheless, the bottom line is, Dr. Rajan Mahtani is now a free man. The conspirators cannot go on talking rubbish about him in their funded news portals and try to win the confidence of the Zambian public. Justice has been made and conspirators have once again lost a case which they thought was easy to win with the aid of fabrications. The Lusaka High Court has played an important role in determining the truth which the Zambian people must know. The conspirators have constantly tried to turn things around, but they have failed in their mission due to their ill nature. An honest person can find shelter even in the midst of a desert, but a dishonest man will always find it difficult to hide his head in a city. God has ensured that the truth remains unharmed and the same has happened in the present case.

Now the conspirators cry over lose against Dr. Rajan Mahtani

Dr. Rajan Mahtani received a judgement in his favour on 19^th November 2015 in respect of a case which the conspirators had re-opened with the help of corruption. This has resulted in utmost upset for the Italian Mafias and they have now openly challenged the honesty of a Judge by stating that Dr. Mahtani has bribed the judge to give the decision in his support.

It is obvious that the writers of Zambia Reports are neither aware of the legal consequences, nor are they aware of moral obligations. Blaming a judge can result in severe punishment and moreover, blaming a citizen like Dr. Rajan Mahtani is infact an act of stupidity. However, the writers are least bothered about the legal consequences because Sakiwa Sikota, the operator of Zambia Reports in Zambia has concealed their identity and their presence is only felt in Zambia Reports through a fake name.

Dr. Rajan Mahtani was convicted on two counts of forgery by the conspirators in 2012 and under the judgement of the High Court, the case was permanently closed and Dr. Mahtani was released with honour. The year also witnessed the deportation of the Ventriglia family. The anger of losing the case as well as being deported from Africa kept burning for 2 long years and then in 2015 they made a return under mysterious circumstances and stole the management of Portland Cement Zambia.

Later, in June 2015, the revenge game was planned and with the aid of the DPP, the Ventriglia family got Dr. Mahtani arrested on the same charges which was put forward in 2012. The fact that, a permanently closed case cannot be reopened was completely ignored and Zambia witnessed one of the most infamous events of all time.

It is sad to see how the officials and the Government have done almost nothing to preserve the interest of a senior citizen like Dr. Rajan Mahtani.

Time for Justice, Dr. Rajan Mahtani ‘Was and Is’ Innocent

Mwiinde Siavwapa, Lusaka High Court Judge has presented his own view in regard to what the conspirators are claiming as ‘Dr. Mahtani forgery case’. The Chairman of Mahtani Group of Companies, Dr. Rajan Mahtani had been infamously arrested on June 02, 2015 on account of a case which was closed by the High Court in 2012. With regard to the growing conspiracy in Zambia, the case was once again reopened by the acting Director of Public Prosecutions and Attorney General.

The Lusaka High Court judge said that the task which Kalaluka and Siyunyi, Attorney General and acting DPP, respectively, have accomplished is ‘unfortunate’ as they have failed to honor the judgement which was previously given by the Judge. The incident clearly reflects that the Court’s judgement has been dishonoured.

The so called ‘Dr. Mahtani forgery case’ is an act of evil by the conspirators. The minority shareholders of the Portland Cement Factory, the Ventriglias, have managed to buy politicians and news portals to spread this rumor that Dr. Rajan Mahtani has been involved in share forgery. When the matter was presented to the Court, the judge found the arguments weak and hence, the case was permanently closed in 2012. But, with a change in power in 2015, the case was reopened and an innocent citizen like Dr. Rajan Mahtani was behind the bars.

However, after hearing the opinion of Mwiinde Siavwapa, it has become evident that Dr. Rajan Mahtani was and is innocent. Conspirators have tried their level best to ensure that maximum damage is done to his reputation, but eventually, nothing rose above his faith in the judicial system and God. The bottom line is, Zambia still needs to fight against corruption and have to find a way against the conspirators. Hurdles will come, but Zambia will continue to fight against them.
