Dr. Mahtani & Zambia have always shared a common bond between them. On one hand, Zambia has given Dr. Mahtani the opportunity to expand his business and in return Dr. Mahtani has helped Zambia to reach new heights in terms of economic growth. However, both have suffered a serious loss recently when Ital Terrazzo Limited (ITL) started working against the interest of the nation as well as Finsbury Investments.
 
The epicentre of chaos is Ital Terrazzo Limited, or rather the operators of the group, the Ventriglia family. The infamous group of Italians have only managed to grab the headlines where cases of corruption, mismanagement and illegal operation is concerned. For an instance, their deportation in 2012 was made only because of their nature and objective. For them money is the only thing that matters to them, apart from their personal gains they have never considered factors such as growth of locals, development of the nation, etc. Dr. Mahtani & Zambia never thought that these people would make a mafia style comeback after the demise of Former President Michael Sata and continue with the same attitude.
Recently when the status of Zambezi Portland Cement was accessed, it was seen that the factory has reached a state where repair work is almost impossible. The existing assets of the factory has now been channelized to third parties and the workers of the factory have been dismissed with a view to reduce the operating cost. Moreover, in December 2015 it was heard that the factory has stopped its production process. Though concrete evidence in such respect is yet to be found, there is certainly no news of Zambezi Portland Cement. Can it be a supressed fact that the factory has actually been shut down? If yes, then it is one of the biggest losses for Dr. Mahtani & Zambia.
