The year 2015 has been an eventful one for the Chairman of Mahtani Group of Companies, Dr. Rajan Mahtani. To make this year more auspicious, Dr. Mahtani has confirmed that he has handed over a Chapel to Mwembeshi Prison on January 18, 2015.
In May 2014, Dr. Mahtani had taken a pledge to build a chapel, which was meant to be used by the Mwembeshi Prison. The same is now 90% complete and has been handed over to Mwembeshi Prison with an intent to offer a religious place to the prisoners. Here are some exclusive pictures of the aforesaid event.
The Chapel is yet to be completed in the hands of Zambezi Portland Cement Factory and on completion the Chapel would be used as a place to educate prisoners about their religion. This has been a remarkable achievement by Dr. Mahtani and the people of Zambia are overwhelmed with this contribution that extends to create a space for religion and God.
The total estimated cost of the Chapel is about K 500, 000 and it will be complete by the end of this month.
