The agreement clearly indicated non-disclosure of an important document and Simaata received a good amount for signing the agreement. However, some habits are difficult to let go. Simaata went ahead and released the same confidential statements to a local newspaper. Furthermore, he testified against Finance Bank as well as Dr. Rajan Mahtani at various courts during multiple occasions. These testimonials had serious repercussions on both the Bank and Dr. Mahtani’s reputation and image. As a result, Finance Bank sued Simaata.
